What is the difference between Locked, Unlocked and Retail mode? Follow

Locked Mode:

In locked mode, all chargers are software locked, and can only be activated with the use of the Omnicharge app.

Unlocked Mode:

In unlocked mode, none of the chargers are locked and can be taken without using the app. Chargers in unlocked mode will:

  • Display the battery level on the screen when plugged in.
  • Factory reset themselves when returned to the station.
  • Chargers in unlocked mode dont support pass-through charging.

Retail Mode:

In retail mode the chargers are the same as regular Omnicharges sold on our website. They do not have any special features for the power station, and will treat the power station like any other charger. This means that it also supports pass-through charging.
